Total War (総力戦開), or commonly known as Raid, or Total Assault on Global, is a game mode where many teachers compete to battle the raid boss and get a high score on the leaderboards.
Unlocked after clearing Mission 4 Act 1.
General Information
Total War or Raid Ticket
Background
Total War is a bi-weekly event. Teachers compete in a score-based leaderboard by defeating the Raid boss.
- Total War occurs every 2 weeks and lasts for 7 days.
- In order to participate, Total War Tickets are used, and completing Mission 4 Act 1 is required.
- 3 Total War Tickets are given every day while the event is active. (Tickets doesn't stack; Teachers can only hold up to 3 tickets at a time.)
- Once used, the Total War tickets are not reimbursed for any reason: forfeit, or running out of time (1 hour).
- A total of 21 Total War tickets are distributed per event. (3 times 7 = 21.)
- Depending of the event, special challenges may be added to complete each difficulty to earn Pyroxene.
Battle
- There's no limit on how many teams can be used. Do note, there's a time-limit of an hour, and Students can only participate once in a team within the stage and duration of the difficulty.
- You can given a chance again to assemble a new team; If time runs out within the stage or all students falls.
- Raid coins or Rare coins are not rewarded, if the Raid boss isn't successfully defeated.

- Extreme has been added starting from Hieronymus's raid on May 27th, 2021.
- Insane has been added starting from ShiroKuro raid on February 16th, 2022.
- Torment has been added starting from Hieronymus's raid on March 01st, 2023.
- Lunatic has been added starting from Geburah raid on January 27th, 2025.
Rewards
Points
- NEW SYSTEM
Points calculations has been reworked starting from Hieronymus's raid on May 27th, 2021.
- Rank
- Should there be a tied in the score or rankings, the first teacher to who reached that particular rank first will be the one who maintain that position.
- Score
- Timed Score
- Teachers will earn a higher score if they defeat the boss quickly.
- HP Score
- Should the boss be defeated, teachers will earn a fixed score.
- Teachers will also gain a higher score if they managed to lower the boss' HP even they did not managed to defeat it.
- Difficulty Score
- Higher difficulties grants higher score.
- Timed Score
- OLD SYSTEM
- Upon completion, student's best time will be recorded, and points will earn points based on the overall performance(total time and the number of teams used). Calculated, along the chosen difficulty.
- Points varies per event but regardless, they still can be used to earn various rewards during the event.
Currency
Total War or Raid Coin
Teachers will be able to receive either coin based on their selected difficulty as well as during the ranking period.

With the introduction of Insane difficulty, a new currency has also been added which can be only obtained from Hardcore difficulty or above.

Ranking
- Based on the teacher's ranking, various rewards such as coins, Pyroxene and trophies are rewarded upon end of the Raid.
- Trophies can be displayed in the Cafe.
- Total War Coins and Rare coins are also rewarded upon end of the Raid.
Gameplay Gimmick
All boss in Total War have similar gimmicks; although some of them possess a gimmick exclusive to them.[1]
Groggy Gauge
- The Groggy Gauge (グロッキーゲージ), is the horizontal yellow bar below their HP.
- The bar can only fill up if the boss is attacked by its weakness type.
- Same color attack type will be more effective against the same color defense type.
Example: if their defense type is Red, they are weak to students whose attack types are also Red color.

- Once the bar has been filled to maximum, the boss will be temporarily stunned, also known as Groggy Status (グロッキー状態).
- This mechanic can be used to prevent certain abilities of the boss.
- If the teacher failed to defeat the bosses, the accumulated gauge will be carried over.
- Depending on the boss, there may be other methods to increase the Groggy Gauge.
- The bar can only fill up if the boss is attacked by its weakness type.
ATG Gauge
- Also known as Active Gauge (アクティブゲージ), are 3 yellow squares besides the Groggy Gauge and are placed underneath their HP bar.
- The three bars are a indication of the boss's special attack.
- The bar increase over time throughout the battle.
- When all three bars are filled, the bosses will use/initialize a powerful skill.
- Depending on the boss, the abilities can be avoided such as Hieronymus using different game mechanics.
- Should the teacher fail to defeat the boss, the Active Gauge will be reset upon re-enter.
- This varies depending on bosses.
