We're not Friends! (友達なんかじゃない！), is the 5th episode of Blue Archive, The Animation.
This anime episode covers Episodes 16 to 20 in the first chapter of Volume 1: The Foreclosure Task Force.

Synopsis
アビドス襲撃が失敗し、次の計画を進める便利屋68。社長であるリーダーのアルは、描いていた理想とかけ離れた現実にもがいていた。 一方、ブラックマーケットを離脱したシロコ達は、偶然手に入れてしまった大金を手放すことを決意。そんな中、セリカのバイト先である「柴関ラーメン」で、とんでもないことが起きてしまう。
After the failed raid on Abydos, Handyman 68 is moving forward with their next plan. Aru, the president and leader, struggles with reality, which is far from the ideal she had envisioned. Meanwhile, after leaving the black market, Sunaookami Shiroko and her friends decide to give up the large sum of money they have accidentally acquired. Meanwhile, something terrible happens at Serika's part-time job, at Shiba Seki Ramen.[1]
Summary
Sensei, Hifumi, and the Countermeasures Committee discovers from the bank collection record documents they obtained from the black market bank, that the money they paid to Kaiser Loans for their debt has been transferred to the Kata-Kata Helmet Gang, making this appear as if Kaiser Loans has been funding the group who had previously attacked the school, however Shiroko realizes that Kaiser Loans' parent company, Kaiser Corporation must be behind the scheme.
As evening approaches, Hifumi tells the group she intends to warn Trinity's Tea Party about Kaiser Corporation's collusion with delinquent gangs, but Hoshino advises against it, pointing that they already knew and she does not want the major schools to take advantage of their situation; Shiroko could hear Hoshino mumbling something about her past but thinks nothing of it. Hifumi bids goodbye with Hoshino expressing hope they will meet again.
The next morning, at Handyman 68's office, an exhausted Aru limps by towards her desk. Kayako devises the plan to Aru that plant the bombs in several locations across Abydos. She also suggests making a deposit with the money the Countermeasures Committee had left behind when Aru refuses to use Abydos' money to fund their operation, but Aru also refuses, reiterating Handyman 68's ideal hat the toughest criminals are not bound by laws and conventions which meant depositing the cash to the dark bank. Kayako suggests they should go back to Gehenna, but Mutsuki tells her that they cannot go back, since the Disciplinary Committee, led by Hina, would punish them.
It was then that Haruka arrives at the office and asks about her new orders as she is willing to follow her lead, when Aru's stomach growls in hunger. At the Countermeasures Committee's meeting room, Sensei arrives to see Hoshino sleeping by Nonomi's lap before Hoshino leaves. Nonomi remarks that Hoshino has changed since she had taken over all the responsibilities as Abydos' student council president after her predecessor left when she was in senior first grade. Sensei wonders if his arrival had changed Hoshino.
At Shiba Seki Ramen, the Handyman 68 are enjoying their ramen, using enough money to buy all four bowls. When Master Shiba mentions that they are Serika's friends, Aru vehemently denies that they are friends and rambles that they should not indulge in their ramen as she believes they are criminals. However, Haruka misinterprets her message and blows up the shop by activating the detonator before Aru could stop her, wiping out the shop in an instant and injuring Master Shiba. Haruka admits that she had planted the bomb at the shop as a precaution.
When the Countermeasures Committee arrives; having been alerted by the explosion, they bump into Handyman 68. Aru, wanting to retain their image as their outlaws, claims responsibility for blowing up the ramen shop, angering Serika to the point the two clubs are about to engage in a gunfight, when a batch of mortar shells lands right by the two parties and the surrounding area, injuring Aru. Kayoko recognizes the mortar shells are being fired from the distance by the Disciplinary Committee. Chinatsu notices that Abydos students are also nearby, but Iori states that anyone who interferes is an enemy.
Difference Between Anime and Game
- Haruka appears in the next scene at Handyman 68's office to offer her royalty and asks Aru for orders. This does not happen in the game.
- The battle between the Countermeasures Committee and Handyman 68, as well as their hired mercenaries, was interrupted early, by the Prefect Team's mortar strike.
- Aru is injured by the Disciplinary Committee's mortar strike in the anime; whereas Kayoko is injured by the mortar strike in the game.
